Developer Access and User Roles

All users in the SeniorSing Developer Portal are assigned to a company profile. Every company has a user who is assigned the role of Company Admin upon initial approval to the Developer Program. This user controls user management for the company, and can invite users, remove users, and manage user roles. This section walks you through how users can be created, how user roles work, and how they can be adjusted:

Inviting Users to the portal:

  • Navigate to the User Management area by clicking your username in the top right-hand corner
  • Click the + Invite User button
  • Provide the email address of the individual you wish to invite and click Submit

Once submitted, your colleague will receive an email notification inviting them to create a Developer Portal account. They will be brought to a registration page, and upon providing the required information will be granted access to the portal. *Users who register this way will automatically be associated with your company profile, and will be assigned the Company User role.

Note:

The email invitation expires in 7 days. A Company Admin can resend an expired invitation, if needed.

How User Roles work:

There are three distinct roles assigned to users on the Developer Portal, which dictate the Areas the user are allowed to access, and the actions they can take.
